Yah , that was pretty amazing event ...for almost impossibly , miraculously for once , the "French" did show up on time , and there they were !

(they were often moved to just pack up and sail off , because, all of a sudden , they missed the taste of home cooking and the flavor of a particular sausage back home, or ran out of a certain "vintage" on the voyage )

can we find out by counting the rifles that were dropped without firing?
