Valley home sales have strong start in '03
siliconvalley.com

Which is interesting since last night on the news there was a piece on an auction of the last phase of a new Santa Clara valley Citation homes development (Robin's Run) for a minimum bid of $250K (obviously too low)- these were sold at $600K at one point and obviously aren't moving- the builder decided to auction off the remaining 70 units and get out of town.

On the same show, a realtor was quoted saying there are 10 homes listed in the bay area for every 4 that sell currently. Sounds about right to me.

Well we passed a measure to lower class sizes and have reaped all most nothing from it. I want to say 3 percent improvement but makes no difference sense I cant remember the costs associated. Kindergarten through third grade limited to 20 students, that I now.
Reading the local rag yesterday and a parent was complaining at the board meeting that lowered class size in the 3ed down hasn't performed to the costs in. She said it best that "it's not size of the class as much as the teacher".
We went over all the class talk here some 4k posts ago. I don't expect you to go rummaging through them to find all the data and I don't have time. It may not of been 4 to 1 but 4 administrator/staff to 1. Memory is the first to go then ?)
