Yup...He was right in uniform <G>...I wish a few of our 'distinguished decision makers' in Bush's Administration would pay attention to folks like Hoffman.

Sorry to say that Hoffman added little to the ongoing debate. I don't think I picked up a single original thought from him. It's all been said here in one form or another.

The discussion, especially among the academics on both sides of the divide, seems to lack factual support. A lot of lofty principles get espoused but--Pollack excepted--there is damned little focus on facts and their interpretation and importance. In general, the opponents of the invasion appear less interested in factual arguments than the proponents, a serious weakness, but both sides suffer from this deficit.
