Which is a fair question, if you agree with the premise.

I don't happen to agree with the premise, personally, but I can see how many would figure that nobody really intended to do anything serious about state sponsors of terrorism.

It always struck me as rather odd that terrorists could get away with killing American citizens and nobody did anything about it, except maybe sue them, or prosecute the perpetrators they could find. At least the Israelis would send the Mossad after terrorists who killed Israelis.

And now we have Libya chairing the Human Rights committee of the United Nations. I can't even bring myself to laugh at the level of cynicism and depravity that demonstrates.

No, if you can look at Libya as a beacon of human rights, you probably won't raise an eyebrow at Iraq.
