The Pentagon has removed the Taliban from government in Afghanistan - they are not ineffective.

The Pentagon will remove Saddam.

Time is not being wasted. The diplomatic path must always be exhausted before the military option is exercised. That Colin Powell now also wants to wack Saddam signals that the diplomatic window is now closed.

Saddam builds offensive weapons, those weapons pass into the hands of terrorists, the terrorists can then hit us, and the high probability is that they will use those weapons against us in the near term. We need to take out Saddam, and anyone else like him. It's really not that difficult to understand. These people don't negotiate, force is all they understand.

The is no "Law of Cycles".
