amante-

dar's cd is not a 5-star.

these are the selections i like
the most:

- mercy of the fallen
- the beauty of the rain
- the one who knows (written for our daughters)
- closer to me (it grows on you)
- whispering pines

i'll be interested in hearing which ones
you like. i think you'll be more discerning.

after many weeks of abstinence, i've enjoyed
a couple very dry gin martinis tonight (read
gin and ice due to lack of vermouth).

it's nice <s>

i'm so happy i have your mom as a partner to love things with.
between the two of us, we are always in love with something.

all of us in the nnbm club are included in that loving
network.

I have a confession to make.

One day everyone including Kath was down and out of love
with everything (you might have all been sleeping and
having bad dreams at the time), leaving me the sole
resposibility of keeping the Love torch burning.

I was doing fine. I was in love with a rock. Must have been
about a 10 lb. piece of stone. It was the size of a
small rump roast or a tender loin. The rock had a neat
design pattern through it like quartz or marble.

I was smitten in love with it. I lifted it up to take a
closer look and to put a kiss on it but when I did, it slipped
from my hands and landed on my big toe.

I hopped up and down holding my toe cursing like a
sailor. (Like the old US Navy type. Not like the Alinghi
type. I don't think they know any bad words.)

Anyhow I was rather pissed off for about five minutes.

Wharfie saw how I let the love fire burnout. He rushed
over and took what was left (the smoldering ash) and put
it in his bong and quickly got it burning again.

I recall him saying, "Pretty good sh!t." in between those
held in coughs that escaped from his nose. Got him pretty
high. Walked around the rest of the day hugging total
strangers and kissing them on the forehead.

I figured we were in pretty good hands so I put ice on my
swollen toe and elevated it for a while. But I'm going
astray here. The point is that for a brief five minute
window of time none of us were in-love with anything.

I wasn't gonna say anything but the guilt has been building
up. Sorry 'bout that.
