A short war with Iraq could cost the world one percent of its economic output over the next few years and more than $1 trillion by 2010, Australian researchers said in a report Thursday.

This is one more hilarious liberal exaggeration, to be filed away with

a) 10% of the population is homosexual;
b) SDI will never work;
c) Saddam's Kuwaiti oil well fires will cause a nuclear winter
d) Global warming threatens food supply

The list goes on. Ridiculous.

Ted Re...CANBERRA (Reuters) - A short war with Iraq could cost the world one percent of its economic output over the next few years and more than $1 trillion by 2010, Australian researchers said in a report Thursday.

A long war could more than triple the costs, they said.

Does the genius tell you how much a 9/11 would cost every 2 yrs, if it is carried out by one of Saddams WMD, or how many more OBL there would be if we continue with containment, or how much the stagnation of the world would cost if we keep on the path we are now.
