The more accurate count would be 60,000. Out of a population in the Bay Area of around 8,000,000. Less than 1%.

THere was about 200,000
You know that how? You did a personal count of each person? Man, your fast! Let's say you spent 8 hours doing it. That's 8 X 60 X 60 = 28,800 seconds. So you's have to count about 10/second.

Know something? I don't believe you.

the numbers aren't that relevant.
Oh? Then why do you peaceniks do a jig every time you hear a high one?

During that last protest the police vs the organizers had different numbers.
We're not talking police vs. organizers; we're talking a newspaper that did an independent estimate.
