biz.yahoo.com Verizon Communications has agreed to determine senior executive compensation without regard to profit generated by its pension plan. "Verizon has decided at the beginning of this year to exclude the impact of pensions and post-retirement benefits from our operating results for incentive compensation purposes," spokesman Bob Varettoni said. Isn't this a farce? They included it when they overstated pension benefits. Now they exclude it when they are going to take a huge pension plan hit!! Am I reading this correctly? M
