Bcrafty, Allan and Shack won't get too mad at me – because they know I like waves too much... -g.

I would like to apologize if at times I said something irksome. Many times I get excited by some idea and just shoot my mouth off.

I would like to say a word or two "In Defense of the Wiggles"... -g/ng. I know that every time I WAS able to identify an intermediate turn (which WASN't every time), it was because of paying attention both to the larger AND smaller time frames.

Some people here excel at seeing the big picture, others are good wigglers. I saw people on this board do what were probably multi-thousand $$ trades based on 5-15min structures. Let those talents complement each other.

On a more theoretical level, Waves are fractals, meaning that they repeat themselves in different time scales. You will find the same Fibo spirals in the structures of Galaxies, and in the molecular slinkies which make up our genes. It is against the spirit of Elliott Waves to refuse to credit the smaller fractals with meaning.

Any move starts with an impulse on the wiggle chart. Impulses don't come alone: if you see an impulse, you can expect at least ONE brother impulse in the same direction. This “brother” will be either the end of the move, like in a "C" – or, it will be a "3" – in which case you can expect a "5" after a consolidation. Here, we are already talking about a COMPLETED LARGER impulse... and guess what: An impulse doesn't come alone... it means you can expect at least one "brother" impulse in the same direction... and so on.

The bottom line is – wiggles are vital in picking up early stages of whatever it is Mr. Market is planning to play on us. Trading them may not be wise, because they are unreliable (because they are wiggles), but they ARE the language in which the market is talking to us. They are rich in hints – and in potential meaning.

Cheers!
