RE>Brian, I think that we can all agree that these responses do not agree with the Bible.<

I do not agree - I think those responses are just
in light of what has and had been said to me.

You go and treat Mars all nice and fuzzy Scott.

It was Mars who told me to "go fetch" like some pet dog
before I told him to go "fetch himself" and he can go fetch.

Christ called me names - you ignore that in your assertion that
I am doing something wrong.

You go be mister nice guy until the cows come home

But I answer fools as they deserve:

Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Mars is being an idiot - go play with him and he will have
you "go fetch"

As far as my response to Colleen - do you understand why
I said those things?

I think not.

RE>>I’ve seen a lot of Christians turn people away from Christ with responses like this<<

These people that are "turned" from Christ are seeking excuses and
I doubt you have truly actually seen anyone "turned" from
Christ because they heard someone speak as I have spoken.

Nice story but nothing more than a fabricated argument.

If I have heard it once... " I would be a Christian if they were not all hypocrites"

Right - real good excuse - tell it to Christ :-)

No one that is intended to be saved will be lost Scott - no not even one.

It is a shame that you think "attractive behavior" may save
only the Holy Ghost saves.

RE>I will not be keeping company with people that I think are wicked<<

Amen and Amen - defending the wicked is to join them in
their folly and support their wicked cause.

I don't blame you for getting to a point where you do not
want to hear any more garbage.

I agree - that is why I put Haquhana back on ignore
I am sick of it as well.

What I said to Colleen - I meant.
She wrote to me if you check it out - I responded.
I do feel sorry for her and can feel compassion
for her efforts to defend her husband.
I did not say that as some kind of way to win any argument.

There is no argument - just endless railing.

RE>but remember that you will be judged by the same measuring stick - so make sure you’re not guilty of their sin bro<<

This is an excellent statement Scott - one with which I utterly agree.

"with what measure" or in other words "by what standard"

The "modern gospel" teaches that men must never judge
that is satan's workshop and it make fools of Christians.

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

"wise as serpents" does not mean to be without judgement.

"harmless" - Was Christ "harmful" is speaking harshly to those who deserved it?

Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

I believe that Mars earned my comments about him - he is being an idiot.

He compares statements from scripture with sayings of men and
maintains that the biblical authors 'stole' all the sayings from previous sources.
When you read the two 'examples' they are not even related.
Mars is on an anti-christ campaign and has been for years.
Do you think he will become a Christian because you come
across as "Mr Nice Guy"
Mars deeply hopes that Christianity will die out on the earth.
Go play with him until you realize you are just part of a game he is playing.
A game that includes calling Christ a mistaken fool.

It come down to this eventually Scott:

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

There comes a time to kick the dust off your heels....
in this case put them on ignore.

I apologize to you for having even spoken to Haqihana.

I will apologize to everyone who has been troubled by
our conversations as I should not have hoped for anything
other than what transpired.

Colleen quoted an Irish drinking toast to me - I responded that
it only made sense once one was drunk - to which Haqihana
attempts to flame me in a "fit of misbegotten honor" defending
his wife against my response asserting that I was "insulting" his wife?

He has conspired with AJ against me in the past and God
knows where his heart has been concerning me.

Haqihana hates me. I believe unjustly.

I do not and can not believe he is saved but God will
judge him in the end and what I believe about him will
mean nothing.

1 Corinthians 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

Paul did not care what men thought of him.

RE>Christ was not speaking in love to the particular clergy he called vipers<
To this we utterly agree. You are miles ahead of many of todays "believers" Many teach that God loves everyone - including satan.

How anyone can justify the concept that God is forever
merciful even to those whom He sends to hell is beyond me.

1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

To say that the above applies to all men - even the goats and
vipers and hardened sinners who speak endlessly against Christ
and the word of God is just ridiculous.

God has mercy on some - and to them that mercy is forever but
to others he hardens and judges and punishes and that punishment is forever in Hell.

I am attack because I teach that kind of truth.

I am not "Mr Nice Guy" to those anti-christ souls who lash out
and attack me with false witness and name calling that is
based in their hatred for the truth.

Remember what Paul said concerning the coppersmith...

2 Timothy 4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

Paul had no problem speaking against Alexander.

Average Joe is another godless liar.

Philippians 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

I however, am also not interested in "striving" with them either.

You are quite right "the servant of the Lord must not strive"

Except the Lord builds the house - except the Lord grant the gift of repentance unto life
nothing will change in men who are DEAD in trespasses and sin.

It is pointless to argue.

Proverbs 20:3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

I agree - that the posts that I have written
Mars and Haqihana have been a total waste of time.

As far as fearing having "turned" anyone from Christ.

I do not share your lack of faith in the power of the Holy Ghost to save.

Do you think that anyone God wants to save will be lost?

I don't.

All of those who are predestined to eternal life will be saved.

Your verse about judging those outside the church is about
judging - if you judge them to be "outside" the church then
you have judged them as lost already.

I think you quoted some very pertinent and 'on topic' scripture by quoting 1 Cor 5

9 ¶ I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

The verse is not teaching we must not "judge" those that are without - it says to put the wicked OUT

We must judge them to decide they are wicked and must be put out *BUT* the judgement stops at that point - God takes over the judgement of the "wicked" from there.
Paul was taking about brothers seeking "legal" judgement from one another before the world in godless courts rather than bring the 'beef' before the church.
Paul said it was better to let someone steal from you than to go before ungodly judges... I could say a huge amount about that but I won't.

I leave off at that.

I am not at all offended with you Scott.

In fact I admire your effort.

You have spoken your mind - you have used scripture to
prove ( or attempt to prove ) your point and you seek
to serve Christ according to what you believe to be true.

I am not offended with you at all brother

I approve of your method and efforts although I think
you avoided some of my points but hey - whatever :-)

I will even admit that you are quite right in rebuking me
for even posting some of the stuff I have posted.

I will agree that likely it did nothing to further the cause of Christ.

In that respect it was sinful - a sinful waste of time.

Time I intend to waste no more, on them.

Proverbs 22:24 ¶ Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger;
And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go:

Thanks for your posts Scott

I have enjoyed them

Brian
