Allen, I talked quite a bit to Nick, who owns Harding battery, and he now buys Chinese batteries to repackage, as he can't produce them as cheap as he can buy them. He also has lost interest in his WalMart contract, as they want to give him very little margin. He showed me a prototype of his new camping lantern that has 10 white LEDs, and burns 20 hours on the NiMH battery pack that is charged by a Unisolar panel. Very cool. I have an old fashioned one that uses a fluorescent bulb, and I only get about 4 hours with the same setup.

Nick is also doing the solar building, that I believe will be the first to have NiMH battery storage. It is being built now, with the steel framework of the building just going up now. I will report more about it as I learn more, as Nick and I are keeping in touch. Now that I sold my motel, I am free to move to the Dallas area, where I want to do solar buildings as well. I am house hunting in the DFW area now.

The scooter that was shown to Shrub is the one that was at the meeting, and I believe it is only about 80 CCs. The guy that built it says that he is almost finished with a 250 CC ICE scooter that should triple the mileage to 60 miles on a hydrogen charge. He is still using the low temp hydride, taking things one step at a time. I didn't see Rosa, so I couldn't get an answer on where the hydride truck is, but it should only be a matter of scaling things up. He said that the room temp hydride is already at about 40 P.S.I., which allows for the instant start.

The big NiMH battery pack SYSTEM that was shown, was specifically designed to fit the frame of an SUV. He couldn't reveal WHOSE SUV. Stemple stated that the auto companies are no longer interested in just batteries, but want the whole battery system designed, and we have done that, with our own in house designed circuit board that controls charging, regenerative braking, output, etc. The whole package looks very professionally done, and ready for drop-in at a car assembly plant. I should have measured the bolt hole spacing, and looked up some specs. The guy that showed me the battery pack is in marketing the batteries, and says that he is thrilled to have the job, and wants to be very aggressive in selling our battery output from the new plant.

Thanks for the shareholder meeting feedback. Sorry I couldn't make it as I typically escape from the cold winter
weather at that time of year. Oh well, it doesn't look like
I missed much other than the great discussions among our
usual group. That is always very enjoyable and informative.

It looks like we will continue with our loses this year and
potentially next year as well, which is another big disappointment. How much longer is it going to take is again the big question after 43 years of developing a succession of incredible technologies. We certainly have enough different possibilities in the works, as usual.

Regards.
