No it wouldn't prove I was right in the first place. It would show that more would have to be done at that point.

As for being right in the first place. - If he had stolen from me, and we lived in a state of anarchy, would it be right for me to break in to his place and take my stuff back even if my neighbors don't want me to do it? The value of keeping me from getting a good nights sleep every night could easily exceded that of valuables that he might have stolen from me. If I was the only damaged party (say he was piping the music in to my room somehow) I would have a right to defend myself. If he is also harming everyone else why does that take away my right to stop the harm and or threat to me?
