this story has been trotted out for 10 yrs now
and silver halide demand has grown every single year
not within the North American continent though
due to India and China, with huge and growing middle class, the photo demand is accelerating, which more than offsets the diversion toward digital imaging

clowns will promote this incorrect view for several more years

I recall in the early 1990's a claim about the "paperless office"
instead, paper consumption has accelerated clearly
just because it can happen doesnt mean it will happen
I prefer photos from older cameras
the cutting edge is pushed by professionals, and great progress is being made
but the world of old-style film photography aint going away for a long time
I expect silver default events in the next several months

gold has its ruse with lagging jewelry demand
silver has its ruse with diversion to digital imaging
there is no shortage of info devices to fool ignorant people
