That is interesting... Because I see little reason the US would have an interest in spending time telling lies when the truth is so powerfully on its side...

But I see why they might caveat their activities by asserting they reserve the right to lie, when necessary..

However, I'm very uncomfortable with the idea...

Of course, it hasn't stopped the, UN, French and Germans from lying that the US is only after the oil and that a million Iraqi children will die as a result of any US invasion of Iraq...

Those kinds of lies must be ok, right??

1 question : can you or anyone else vouch for the credibility of this organization called globalsecurity.org ? In my mind, much depends on that.

EDIT : when I went to their web site there was this streaming banner saying "heres how you can donate to globalsecurity". Credible news agencies IMHO do not do that.
