Either that, or put Bush and Hussain in one room and throw away the key till they reach a compromise....

Its not difficult......kinda like marriage counselling..........if undertaken with integrity and honesty, or at least a little bit of it, it often works.

I mean imagine if the same 100 billion was given as strictly monitored aid - in the form of schools, hospitals, colleges......Bush would achieve better and long term results than he ever can with war...

Saddam is pretty modern in his outlook.....and could have been used as tool to spread reform all over the region....

But now, IMO, not having a war would be just as detrimental as having one.....I'd toss a coin to decide....

<<...I'd rather they send in a surgical team and take
him out...>>
I've wanted that for a while...or why can't we really help
equip the Iraqi resistance and assist them in an effective
coup...? Our CIA has not been doing their job in Iraq over
the years.

If it was as easy as all that I'd think they would have
already done that.

I mean do you two think the US would go through all of this
crap if there was an easy solution to the problem?

Besides, what is a surgical team going to do anyway?
Remove his gall bladder and leave a set of forceps inside
so he dies of complications?

Take out his tonsils and slip up with the scalpel so he
can't talk to his people anymore?

Jeesh.

I'm glad we got General Tommy there to plan things out
instead of the writers of the TV show ER.

don't get caught up in the bush paradigm.

you can't kill evil any more than you can kill terror
or wipe out darkness.

murder = suicide by proxy

get back loretta...

get back to nature.

nature kills indiscriminately.

you might as well start in california or chicago.
