Ike, nice description of life in Pakistan. Its not really different to life in India. My guess is it shows that 50 years dont matter much to a people that lived together for 2K years (or more). Current politics is a transient situation, IMHO. When you described Dal makhani, I was salivating, because I expected Nan and some good goat meat to go along with it.
