Lodi, our experience shows that it is more likely people will post "silly" forecasts if they are anonymous than if they are registered. I do not understand where you got the idea that we are "collecting information on [Silicon Investor's customers] or soliciting them with spam via email". It is clear that you have not registered with AllPredictive because then you would see that we only collect the minimum information necessary to service the account and do not spam anybody. The only email we sent out was monthly newsletter and members can opt out of it. Registration requires members to provide and confirm their email address. The reason for this is to be able to communicate with members (i.e. informing them about new features). But the more important reason is to make it more difficult to manipulate service's forecasts. If you care about this investor sentiment service, which sounds like you do – you have put in quite the effort to write the two postings – then you should register and try it for yourself. If you select an autologin, then you will never have to login again and can use the feature directly from Silicon Investor. Let me point out that the registration will take just a fraction of the time you took to write these postings. :-) Peter Braun
