In the most recent poll, on February 3, three-quarters of Australians declared themselves against a war in Iraq without UN backing. Forty per cent said they would oppose it even with UN approval. True, and understandable. They view their PM as kowtowing to Big Bully US. OT : In the last few days whilst I was speaking to my sisters in Aus, every one of them started of with "u guys are bullying us and the rest of the world". After a few deep breaths, I tried explaining my understanding of 1441 and its predeccesors. After they listened, they said "hmm, let me think about it".
