As a bureaucrat, I don't care who's feathers Rumsfeld ruffles. He can stick feathers up the a$$ of the Generals for all I care. But when he fancies himself to be a General -- and make no mistake, he DOES do that -- then he is way over the line. If your son or daughter was killed by his incompetence I rather doubt that you would be so cavalier. People's lives are at risk here. This is not just some dumba$$ exercise in media spin. This about life and death as professionals do their jobs, or, as in this case, as amateurs get into the driver's seat.
