My reply, paraphrased, is:

Yes, people die in wars. That's what wars are. But if you are afraid to ever fight, you are fair game to any bluffing bully who wants to intimidate you. If you expect self-respect, you are going to have to stand up for yourself.

So let me ask you a question: Where is Saddam in this? Does he get a pass? He knows if he leaves the country, there will be no war.

Does he have no responsibility for those Iraqi children?
