dabum, I think osx may be completing an ABC correction, along with the broader markets.

There is a distinct possibility for the markets to turn down hard within a few days. It looks possible to me that OSX will get cut in half, if this analysis holds.

What would cause me to change my mind? A clear breakout.

Position, one minimal holding in CNRD. I think it may have bottomed, and it has been in the crapper so long I don't care.

Watching Hoff and some others. I think Hoff may be nearing a bottom, but many others not. WG should put in another leg down soon.

Drillers I don't know. Haven't been watching much. I looked at the weeklies on RIG. From Oct 2000 to 2001 it put in a clear 5 wave pattern down. From Oct 2001 to May 2002 it put in a clear ABC. From end of May to end Oct 02 it put in another clear 5 wave down, which I think the 1st wave of a 5 wave pattern. Looks to me like it is starting anther major leg down. If this case holds I would estimate RIG to get chopped in half.

Many of these drillers stink, in regard to ROI.

Maybe I post some charts soon.

You heard it here first. Since I don't have a reputation over here it doesn't matter much to me whether I am right or wrong. If I'm wrong I'm wrong and then I have to go find out why.

Remember though that 5 wave patterns usually come in pairs.

I read Greenlaw's post(s) and I agree with him, at present.

These ain't easy times. As I see it demand in the petroleum industry is likely to get shithammered, to put it mildly. And it takes two to tango, the other side of course being supply.

I've been an oil patch bum for 23 yrs and never seen it so bearish, on the inside. I don't think that a good sign, at present, because I think the sentiment has not yet bottomed.

FWIW.
