doesn't matter. trading is about one human taking advantage of another. always has been, always will be. we all have the same computers, same software, anybody who wants to - and many do - can do all the same math done in the goldman sachs basement. and even if you and i couldn't, merrill could. the sophisticated AIs all cancel each other out as they burn cpu cycles to anticipate the anticipation of the reaction to the anticipation of the anticipation of the reaction... every generation of traders has said "this time it's different". it never is. imo.
