China starts having trade deficits. Oil prices struck. Even exporting like crazy, the money earned from those exports was not enough to cover all imports due to the oil price increase.

Bush is playing this card: Control oil price to force the big exporting countries to cough up those dollars they receive as payment for their exports. Something we know in LATAM for decades under the name of terms of trade.

If were the Chinese I would start a crash course in terms of trade!!! Or perhaps they just start drilling offshore at the Spratlys Island surrounded by war ships since Vietnam and Pinoy Land are not going to take that easy.
