It is not just an image, we are the BSD of the world. We don’t have to be. Power does not make automatically make a nation a big swinging dick. It gives a nation the option of becoming a big swinging dick, if that is what the nation chooses to be. It also gives a nation the option of becoming a real leader, if that is what the nation chooses to be. Leadership and big swinging dickery are neither identical nor compatible, a simple reality that many of our “leaders” seem unable to comprehend.
