Hatred of any group of people is simply wrong. The French bashing is wrong, too. German bashing is wrong. Ánti-anyone is unacceptable and counter to the tenets we've been preaching in this country to accept one another. We can't teach our children not to hate if this government is promoting hatred of those who don't go along with the president or fall down and die for him.

On FADG, I have little tolerance for bashing the protestors (making fun of their ideas is fine though) and I have no tolerance of anti-semitism. There has been a fair amount of both and you only notice one of them.

I thought the latest set of discussions were about the demonstrations. If we are going back to FADG, then where is the anti-semitism? So far, you and Nadine have marked two posts that bothered you. Let's assume that's true, just for the sake of this discussion. Then count that against the rather constant bigotry against Muslims, Arabs, Europeans, lefties, etc.

I make my offer again. Let's find some criteria to approach ridding the thread of posts that contain bigotry. I think the task is something beyond formidable but I would be willing to work with whomsoever. But the category is bigotry of which anti-semitism is one flavor.
