``I think if the Hispanic community believes that Miguel Estrada is being treated differently or is being held at a different standard, I think that it may be harmful in the future,'' Gonzales said.

I believe people are sick of liberal Democrats obstructing good government. They actually are starting to look pretty foolish.

But some, such as Schumer and Hillary, are so extreme in their positions that they are effectively trying to dismantle the Constitution -- which is precisely what is going on with Estrada, and with Pickering, and so many before.

There are no similar incidents on the other side of the aisle. There is not a single Clinton nominee that was rejected on ideological grounds alone; and I don't believe there were any that were denied up-or-down votes on the floor, as the liberals did with Pickering and are trying to do with Estrada.

This is simply more liberal anti-Americanism, in my view, as they are attempting to change the intent of the Constitituion without so much as the public becoming aware of what they're doing.

By the way, it won't work. I believe Hatch is going to make so much noise about this behavior that the liberals are going to look like damned fools.
