Look, I don't want to argue with a fencepost about a known fact. Hans Blix, last week:

How much, if any, is left of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and related proscribed items and programs? So far, UNMOVIC has not found any such weapons, only a small number of empty chemical munitions, which should have been declared and destroyed. Another matter and one of great significance is that many proscribed weapons and items are not accounted for. To take an example, a document, which Iraq provided, suggested to us that some 1,000 tonnes of chemical agent were "unaccounted for." One must not jump to the conclusion that they exist. However, that possibility is also not excluded. If they exist, they should be presented for destruction. If they do not exist, credible evidence to that effect should be presented.

Now, while he stops short of proclaiming Iraq to have 1000 tons of chemical agent, he claims it is "unaccounted for", and claims there is no evidence that it was destroyed; while Blix, in the interest of appearing to be fair, cannot proclaim something to exist where he has no proof of its existence.

It is clear from the statement that (a) it is unaccounted for and (b) there is no proof it was destroyed. What person, in their right mind, would conclude that Saddam destroyed such weapons and didn't document it? Obviously, if he did something like this it would be documented for propaganda purposes if nothing else.

As I previously stated, there is clear and overwhelming evidence Saddam has 2,000,000 lbs of chemical agent unaccounted for and presumed available for use.
