Why VC will not come back. We have to see from VC came from. When the cold war ended, it unleashed a lot of technologies for civilian use. The "defense" industry started sacking like crazy. Those scientists and engineers sought capital to implement the technologies freed by the defense industry. Now add to that all those engineers and managers that were sacked from Ma Bell when it was first broken by Judge Green and you get a lot of potential ideas to be funded. Those were the guys who made the VC boom possible.

Will VC make a come back after R? I don't think so. Not in them magnitude of the last 16 years or so.
