Don't bother answering, as I am putting you on ignore before your endless stream of self-hating, blame-America-first, anti-freedom, hate-speech makes me physically ill.

Don't post if you do not want an answer.
Bush has F*d up every step of the way, bribing countries, telling lies, Powell plagairizes documents, bad mouthing North Korea in to stepping up its nuclear program, forgetting all about Al Qaeda and Islamic terrorists and Bin Laden, instead attacking a country that is bottled up with inspections and had NOTHING whatsoever to do 911, and we are about to spend $200B to get rid of an admittedly evil man, but one who is probably 1 of 50 or so ruthless dictators in the grand scheme of thing and in the meantime we forogt all about Alqaeda and Bin Laden.

Well Bush is totally off his MFing rocker, and I for one am glad the world is standing up to his blatant lies, reasons for this war (oil and revenge), and even in the US most do not support this war without UN approval. Finally anyone that can not see that Al Qaeda WANTS us to attack Iraq just to give them an excuse to attack us and get more recruits just does not have a FN clue.

Personnly I am glad you put me on ignore because it shows just what a closed minded war mongering Bush can do no wrong loving fool you are.

For the record, the $200B we are about to blow fighting Iraq is far better spent tracking down Al Qaeda and Bin Laden, beefing up US security, etc. Those are hardly pacifict actions and I believe we need to step up the war on terorrism but Bush nad his cronies have no clue how to fight it and/or purposely want to start wwIII. If you are getting sick, wait till the terrorists counter attack within weeks of a stupid invasion in Iraq.

You can always tell someone has lost a argument, when there's no counter argument in their reply; just mindless drivel you've just displayed.

Do yourself a favor (and our country), and begin thinking for yourself instead of toting the party line. Now that's evil, whether Left or Right.

Aren't politics wonderful. You have just destroyed a friendship with Mishhedlo so you can wave your flag and dream about our great country blowing the hell out any life form that disturbs us(especially if they control oil fields). Good Luck. Max

you and mish are both good people. you're also, so far as i know, both americans. if the two of you, born and raised in arguably the most vibrant democracy of the past century, can't take opposite sides of a hugely important issue without having it turn into verbal thermonuclear warfare...

what hope is there for the rest of the planet?

Augie, I support a war on Iraq but I have to echo the statements of the anti war threadsters and support much of what Mish, Godfrey, WLD, Softie etc are saying.

US played a big part in putting Saddam where he is now and encouraging his acts of mass murder. There is much justification in rectifying that mistake but the way US and UK are presenting their case is a bunch of lies.

Gassing of Iranians was using US intelligence and planning, along with Euro and US hardware and technology.

Gassing of the kurds is accepted all over the world to have been done by Iran but in the last 6 mths the story has mysteriously changed!

years old "intelligence" report used to justify war?

No evidence of Saddams WMD arsenal despite satellites, spies, U2s, inspectors, helicopters etc?

This isn't anti american as you put it, it is the truth. If Bush, Rumsfeld etc are given free rein to deceive their own citizens, let alone the rest of the world, how do we know they will prosecute the war in a responsible and humane way, rather than killing tens of thousands of retreating troops that didnt support their govt anyway, like was the case in Iraq '91, and to a lesser extent in the Afghan war?

Let's remember this should be a war on Saddam, not a war on Iraq.
