Not really. Shinui is centrist on security, a little to left of Likud. Sharon made the NRP agree to abide by the government's stated positions on the Palestinian state (ie eventual Palestinian state). Not sure what National News Condor was watching, but CBC is as full of sh-t on Israel as the BBC is.
