Well it could be successful despite Bush. That's all I meant. It is possible he simply won't be able to defy the will of the world to go to war alone. It is also possible that he may get credit (in the future) for not going to war, even though he really wants to. If he should get such credit, and if he gets to be thought "successful" do I care? No. I would simply prefer a good solution to things. That may be unlikely, but it isn't a tautology.
