If he understood a commitment existed to help solve the Israel-Palestinian issue, I'm quite sure he doesn't want this solved. I base that on his support of terrorism and his exploitation of the conflict to garner support from the "Arab street". that the sanctions upon the people of Iraq would gradually be lifted, Now there is something he does want. think, he probably fears the growth of this organization as much as we do Doubt it. Since AlQaida, as I've noted in past posts, explicitly acts in support of Iraq. --he might actually agree to the combination of inspections, monitoring and containment. With a gun to his head, he will agree to anything. He has agreed to inspections again over the last few months precisely because of the gun George Bush has pointed at his head. But according to Blix Iraq is not cooperating yet.
