Yes, very interesting.

This seems to be the first phase in an upward spike.. now, I guess the real question is, when does one go short? Not at 8 bucks, but around 12-13?

Note that the later-term futures (August 2003 and past) are significantly lower than the current month.

Also, 30-year bond futures are trading around 113.75 right now. The 114 mark has been fierce resistance over the past month, and I suspect it will break through the upside, which should be good for 115-116 before they start selling off again. I don't seriously see the bonds going any higher than 117 on the spike. In fact, after Iraq, I can't see ANYTHING keep the bonds up.

just took a look at heating oil and it was at $46/bbl last Friday so NG may have a chance at $10.
