Author(s): Astier, Henri, Abstract: Reviews several books about French anti-Americanism. I've seen other articles by Henri Astier and would expect what he had to say about these three books to be interesting, but can't access his latest review, as it's on some pay site. I have a copy of Revel's « l'Obsession Antiamericaine » it's a fun read and a lot of what he says is pertinent. From what I've seen elsewhere of Emanuel Todd, his « Après L'Empire: Essai Sur la Décomposition du Système Américain » will be the usual wishful thinking by the French left, they never get tired of publishing such twaddle. I have not seen Philippe Roger's book.
