Sig,
The US might get its 9 votes here for a resolution that only states facts, not threatens. Then the US would be free to act and the French could continue to oppose the war even if they go along with this resolution. I guess the french position is that although the facts are what they are, we should allow more time. US/GB positions are the facts reflect a material breach and that means war. Mike

So will the French and Germans stand up in the meeting and say that Iraq met the requirements of 1441.?

This is the "Half resolution" that I have been talking about. it is "Veto Proof." And it gives Blair cover.
