Exactly my experience as well...

Anywhere I've been in France the people have been just fine.
EXCEPT, go to Paris and things change very quickly.
I even noticed it on my first trip as far back as '86.

is this the "complain against the French" window ?

they stink... they don't take showers everyday, that's why they have the best perfumes in the world... ever gotten stuck in l'metro in a hot summer day...

the concept of a smelly arse really takes on a heightened perspective... -ggggg
