Hi Snow: I just wanted to point out, there's alternatives or let's say differing opinions. iow we here in Europe (old new, wtf cares) are not a bunch of brain-dead dodos whose prime occupation (to some) seems to be backstabbing and weaseling out of conflicts. re Rheinmaidens - went to Neuschwanstein yesterday (again) neuschwanstein.com and I'm still suffering from the kitsch overload - all those swans and Tanhäuser and Lohengrins... Do I really need to stand in line with grinning twittering Japanese teens for two hours to see that (again)? You into Wagner? I keep playing the Tanhäuser ouverture (makes my cat go into trance), but I never tried to dig deeper - I got as far as Fritz Lang's Nibelungen and of course the Nibelungenepos as such.
