Kerry is not for squandering alliances and paying-off Turkey 26 billion, and neither should Bush or anyone else be. These are extremely high costs for a war that is not mandatory. Bush appears ready to thumb his nose at the UN regardless but we'll see. Another thing, Rumsfield's claim we are ready for war is untrue. A general I watched last night on TV stated the main infantry units are not ready at all and not a single tank has been off-loaded, nor most of them even on their way. In short we are painfully un-ready for war. So is Bush just bluffing or he is extremely reckless? Or both?
