Snowshoe, Nothing to do with your public post.

On the subject of ECB member nation gold sales. Traditionally, I think as in for the past four thousand odd years, nations sinking into fiscal and monetary swamp are supposed to transfer their gold to nations that are not, and so all still works as it should, what with Rome whenever, Thailand 1997, Russia 1998, Turkey 1999, Argentina 2000, ... with or without gold windows or other metallic doors.

The fast developing drama of lost of peace dividend, ever less employment, declining government and corporate revenues, disappearing profit, lost portfolios, punctured pension eggs, inflating energy burden, out-of-control social costs, and utter and absolute lack of visibility to a sun shinny day will wear on people around the world, drape over them, making it difficult to breathe, and then, one fine day, waking up to a market place with few bids and plenty of asks.

I am wondering what ACF Mike, Maurice and CB will post on that day. Perhaps, 'gold, gold, where can I buy some gold?' much as wanderers in the desert are apt to plead for water;0)

Of course, I can easily be wrong about the direction of gold price trend, as apparent as it is apparent.

This gold vs no gold is shaping up to be an epic of Star Wars proportions, with the Empire against the Rebellion, high-tech vs Aztec, prayer against hope. Oh, the drama, excellent entertainment, surreal amusement.

My allocation is already ready for TPonRr to TeoTwawKi;0)
