The best bottle of wine that I ever had was a Cab Franc from a central californian vineyard (just north of Santa Barbara). I don't remember the brand , but it was only 2.50 a bottle, so I bought three cases. I regret not remembering what kind it was.

Am in Seattle, so I see L'Ecole everytime I am looking for a bottle of wine. I have had it highly recommended to me by people who know; I'll add you to that list.. :). Have been avoiding it because I am not in the habit of spending more than about $12; but maybe it is time to try. Any particular year on the Merlot that is noteworthy?
