Speaking for myself, I want this over soon. I can't imagine inspections working and taking less than a couple of years. Not sure I want to see years of market uncertainty, I'm hoping the war goes ahead, Saddam is killed, deposed or arrested for crimes against humanity. Then the cloud of doubt (regarding Iraq) can be lifted over the market and we can worry about Al Qaeda again.

I understand the way you feel. I make part of my income from the stock market and the markets are doing nothing because of this mess. At the same time, its this attitude "let's screw this and get on with business" that's let politicians get us into this mess in the first place. None of us were watching the store while they played their games, and none of us have made them accountable.

I am hoping that with the net and faster dessimination of info, they [the politicians]will not be able to pull their BS quite so easily in the future. On the other hand, Americans have to stop expecting immediate resolution to all our problems. Its when we gloss over things that we end up paying through the nose.
