tejek, re:I think war is inevitable and that may require overruling the UN... That's what I see as well. I don't put much stock in the terrorism will increase argument, they already hate us, letting Saddam go won't have any impact on those "true believers". So looking to the upside of Saddam out of the ME - I genuinely hope the ME as a group will pay attention to the Palestinian-Israeli problem and find a real solution. One more antagonist removed from the table may be helpful in the long term.
