My read on BPNDX or any BP, is the majority of the companies are on sell signals (65 out of 100 in this case). This means if they keep falling as the Nasdaq falls, the number doesn't get worse. Now, we've got the stronger companies (still on buy signals) that are losing ground. Example: AMGN is on a buy (it has gone from around 48 to 54+ since January. It will stay a buy until/ unless it touches 47, it's only at 52+ now.

This is what makes it unlikely for the BP to go down to 0. As Dorsey Wright would say, it's time for the defense to be on the field. This is the case til the BP goes below 30 and then crosses above it. There are different levels for each BP.
