Smaller government starts with reduced spending, not tax cuts. Unless you're willing to eliminate the biggest pork projects in your own district you have little chance of reducing government spending.

Porkville means higher taxes or gigantic deficits, ala Reagan. Payback for lower spending is lower taxes.
