That's true too. The protestors encourage Saddam - hey, he says so. And he believes he has France and its lackeys in his pocket - and he probably does. Have to watch what they do or don't do after Saddam openly defies the UN's demand to destroy a specific weapons system by a specific time. If they won't authorize force after such a defiance the UN will have been shown to be dead as a force for peace. This just demonstrates what appeasement achieves.
