Looks to me that they have done the "deal" and there will not be war.

I have just been watching and listening to Colin Powell meeting the EU delegation in Washington (on CNN) and I have never heard him more conciliatory. In fact, the whole tone of the meeting was how Europe and the US were in "it" together. There was absolutely no hint that the US was even thinking of making war on its own.
