Metavante Advances Spectrum With Production Pilot, Development of Spectrum 3.0 Distribution Network Wednesday February 26, 8:00 am ET MILWAUKEE, WI--(INTERNET WIRE)--Feb 26, 2003 -- Metavante® Corporation today announced that development of its Spectrum 3.0 electronic bill distribution network is underway. With the pre-production environment now fully established in Milwaukee within the Metavante Center for Advanced Product Engineering, the company also affirmed that it successfully completed its production pilot phase by routing transactions through Spectrum in the fourth quarter 2002, within its previously announced time frame. Production data transactions were successfully completed through the Spectrum network in December 2002 using live data from two Metavante Electronic Presentment and Payment (EPP) financial services industry clients. The production pilot involved routing customer bills from one originating client to the consumer accounts of another client through the Spectrum switch which operates as an electronic billing network for the distribution of bill presentment data and payment transactions. "As part of our ongoing analysis, we continue to monitor our transaction processing through Spectrum and work with our clients to define their needs as it relates to the network," said Cary Serif, executive vice president and general manager, Metavante Electronic Presentment and Payment.
