I think we'll see one more dip into the 113's (the upper 113's) on the 30-year before we head permanantly (at least for the march contract lifetime) in the 114's and above.

The S&P is looking weak, and there's going to be huge geopolitical uncertainty between now and Blix II. Combine that with earnings warnings season, and you have a recipe for very volatile market conditions.. I wouldn't consider playing any upward spike in the S&P until the ^VIX hits about 42-43.

The intraday war being played in the 30-year March TBond futures is just incredible - it reminds me of a big game of tug-of-war and it's just a matter of time before one side collapses... but when they do, it'll result in a big victory for the other side.

In other words, my stop orders should be good ones.
