Hardly know where to start replying to your post, Karen. 1) ??? Didn't understand the reference to the SFO earthquakes.... Bottom line: Earthquakes are acts of nature (or insurance companies call them: "Acts of God") Men don't cause earthquakes. Nor hurricanes, nor snowstorms, nor volcanos etc. Nature does. 9-11 was caused by men. All believing in radical Islam, whatever their birth place....and hearing what their leaders had been telling them for many many years. 2) You said: "Did all those "millions" think Sept 11th was "OK"" Seriously, do you know anyone in this country who thinks 9/11 is okay? And why on earth would anyone march for 9/11? I personally believe that anyone who marched with "anti-war" signs either a) Didn't believe that we are already at war after 9-11....and didn't listen to President Bush who said that we would fight TERRORISM WHEREVER we found it...and didn't listen to the combined House and Senate who said the same thing. or b) They don't believe we will ever get hit again...and if we do, it's someone else's problem. or c) I saw NO Quakers in the march, nor any with signs that said they were "Conscientious Objectors". So that being the case, I have to conclude that many of those people wished the US ill will, or are willfully naive. You said: THe CIA and FBI our intelligence which is supposed to work to prevent terrorists from attacking were not doing their jobs we later learned. President Bush had been in office not quite 8 months. I would suspect the CIA and FBI were operating as they had for the previous 8+ years. Big organizations don't move very quickly, especially if there are labor unions involved. To say nothing of hearings before the House and Senate. You said: We've not had any attacks within our borders since 9/11. Yes, that is true. Do you think it could be possible that our Government has been doing everything possible to hamper any attack possibilites?? (i.e. Richard Reid) Someday there will be full disclosure of all things that were prevented from happening. It must be VERY difficult for our Government now to keep things so close to the vest here....on one hand, I'm sure many would like to cheer our successes, and on the other hand, if we know about those successes, and how they were achieved, we will be telling any terrorist group what we know about their operations. Do you seriously want that??? I can not believe you do. I know I don't.
